Its pacing and tone reminds me of some of the great thriller/horror's of the past, but with a fresh take keeping it relevant for modern audiences
Our protagonist (Britni Camacho) is being extorted by sinister Sheriff (John Schwab) in what turns into nail biting and thrilling cat and mouse chase.Shot in the vastness of the New Mexico desert, the shot’s – despite feeling eerie and desolate – are absolutely beautiful to look at.
A debut movie that is shrouded in social relevance, artistry, and bold filmmaking
What stands out for me, however, is the craftsmanship that the film’s director, Lawrence Jacomelli, brings to his feature film.
A must watch!
I cannot wait to see what he produces next.
